Constructed of gilded bronze, the exterior with raised black enameled Iron Cross flanked by silvered oak leaf branches, opening with a functional spring catch with stud release and chain, the interior with an inscription of “WELTKRIEG 1914/17” (“WORLD WAR 1914/17”), unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 56 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition.
