Likely awarded to a Doctor this is a fine example of the non-combatant iron cross: With a toned silver frame, iron core, magnetic, maker marked "S-W" (Sy & Wagner, Berlin), 42 mm, on a long original non-combatant ribbon, better than extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, two elastic restrainers on the inside lid, soiled recessed medal bed, lightly scuffed exterior, case better than fine.
