Cross with the magnetic centre and silvered frame, 59.35mm x 59.3mm, the magnetic centre with very high relief and very crisp crown, numerals, and Prussian Imperial insignia on reverse and obverse, centre slightly loose within the extremely well-executed frame, with large suspension loop and wide neck ribbon, in extremely fine condition. In extremely fine condition, rare.

Footnote: Official awarded Grand Crosses of the Iron Crosses 1914 (Five recipients in total) received Wagner made crosses, with silver frame, and of different style of manufacture then this cross. This version of the cross was period manufactured as a museum example, also often exhibited during military ceremonies and State anniversaries, as evident from contemporary publications and photos.
