A cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened silver core within a ribbed border, the obverse with a raised central W, with the re-institution date 1914 in raised numbering on the lower arm, and the royal crown on the upper arm, the reverse centre with a branch of three oak leaves below the crowned initials FW, with the original institution date 1813 in raised numbering on the lower arm, unmarked, measuring 43.20 mm (w) x 42.70 mm (h), weighing 22.0 grams, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition.
