What's a max bid?

Germany, Imperial. A Pour le Mérite, Miniature

(Verdienstorden Miniatur). Instituted April 1740. (1740-1918 issue). Constructed of gilded silver with enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms, with the quadrants joined together by stylized eagles, the arms bearing a gilt inscription of “POUR LE MÉRITE”, with the twelve o’clock arm bearing a monogram of King Frederick II, the twelve o’clock arm with an integral loop and suspension ring, unmarked, measuring 9.55 mm (w) x 10.55 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
