An example of an extremely fine quality Imperial German miniature medal chain of three decorations, consisting of 1) A Hessian Order of Philip the Magnanimous Knight’s Cross; in gold and white enamels; measuring 14.38 mm (w) x 14.42 mm (h); 2) A Prussian Order of the Crown Fourth Class; in gilt bronze; measuring 14.93 mm (w) x 15.26 mm (h); 3) A Prussian Order of the Red Eagle Fourth Class; in silver and enamels; measuring 14.28 mm (w) x 14.26 mm; all attached to a silver gilt chain, with a needle for attachment on one end, and a boutonniere on the other; maker marked “Godet & Sohn, Berlin” on the obverse; in overall near extremely fine condition.
