The Iron Cross 1914 Second Class; silver frame with a blackened iron core (magnetic); on loop for suspension (maker marked RW - an unknown maker); acquired without its ribbon; measuring 42.62 mm x 42.75 mm; weighing 15.5 grams. The Second Class Cross of Honour of the German Red Cross in bronze gilt with fine quality red, white, and black enamels; on loop for suspension; acquired without its ribbon; measuring 40.20 mm x 40.17 mm; weighing 16.4 grams. The Second Class Prussian Red Cross Medal in silvered bronze; on loop for suspension (maker marked but illegible); acquired without ribbon; measuring 33.43 mm in diameter; weighing 15.8 grams. With a matching ribbon bar with a non-combatant’s ribbon, a Cross of Honour ribbon, and a Red Cross Medal ribbon; metal core with a horizontal pinback; measuring 46 mm x 18 mm; with a matching boutonniere suspended on a horizontal pinback; overall a very fine grouping of medals and decorations to a decorated member of the Red Cross.
