A lot of four fine First War period medals, awards, and decorations, consisting of 1) An Iron Cross 1914 Second Class; two piece construction with a silver frame and a magnetic iron core; loop for suspension marked “H” (Paul Hossauer, Berlin); measuring 43.20 mm x 43.29 mm; weighing 15.6 grams. 2) A First War Würtemberg Medal for Bravery; in silvered tombac; measuring 28.67 mm in diameter; weighing 11.4 grams; on original ribbon. 3) A First War Friedrich August Commeorative Medal; in silvered tombac; measuring 28.34 mm in diameter; weighing 10.9 grams. 4) A Honour Cross of the First War (Hindenburg Cross) with swords; in bronzed metal (magnetic) with the bronzing having worn off due to age and wear; maker marked “O4” (Orden-herstellergemeinschaft, Pforzheim) on reverse; measuring 37.47 mm x 37.48 mm. Overall better than fine to near very fine condition.
