What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Bavaria: King Ludwig's Cross (blackened bronze, 17 mm x 18.3 mm, with ring suspension); Hesse: General Honour Decoration, Type III (1894-1918) (bronze, 16.5 mm, without ring suspension, cleaned); Prussia: Red Cross Medal, 3rd Class (bronze, 15.5 mm, cleaned, without ring suspension); Prussia: War Aid Merit Cross (silvered zinc, 18.5 mm, with ring suspension); Prussia: Life Saving Medal, Type II (1925-1933) (silver, 16.2 mm, with ring suspension); Saxony: two Friedrich August Medals, Silver Grade (silver, 17 mm each, one with its ring suspension, one without, cleaned); and Wurttemberg: Wilhelms Cross for Merit in War (silver, 16.7 mm, with ring suspension, cleaned).
