What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A lot of four awards, including a Merit Cross for War Aid, presenting as a Maltese cross, constructed of blackened Kriegsmetall alloy, the obverse presents a circular central medallion with the crowned cipher of King Wilhelm II, the reverse presents the inscription FÜR KRIEGS-HILFSDIENST (FOR WAR AID MERIT) above an oak wreath, measuring 41.48 mm (w) x 41.95 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition. A Honour Cross of the World War 1914/18 with Swords, a straight armed cross pattée in bronzed iron, with crossed swords between the arms, the centre obverse displays a laurel wreath encircling the dates 1914 1918, maker marked 50 R.V. PFORZHEIM on reverse, measuring 38.02 mm (w) x 37.88 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in near extremely fine condition. A Red Cross Medal, III Class, constructed of a round, bronze medal, the obverse presents a Geneva cross, with Prussian royal crowns at the ends of the cross arms, with the initials W and R between the top cross arms and A V between the bottom cross arms, the reverse presents the inscription FUER VERDIENSTE UM DAS ROTHE KREUZ (FOR MERIT IN THE RED CROSS), with a curved oak branch to the left, measuring 33.32 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition. A Friedrich-August Medal, constructed of bronze, the obverse presents the intertwined and crowned letters FAR (Friedrich August Rex), enclosed by an open-topped laurel wreath tied together below, the reverse presents the two-line inscription Friedrich August-Medaille, decorated above and below with ornamentation, measuring 28.44 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in near very fine condition.
