A lot of three medals, including a Baden Civil Merit Medal, a circular silver medal, the obverse centre with the head of Grand Duke Friedrich II in relief and facing left, circumscribed FRIEDRICH II GROSSHERZOG VON BADEN, maker marked RM, the reverse inscribed FÜR VERDIENST (FOR MERIT) within a circular oak wreath, measuring 38.37 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition. A General Honour Decoration, Silver Medal for Bravery, a round silver medal, the obverse centre presents the left-facing portrait of Ernst Ludwig, circumscribed by the inscription ERNST LUDWIG GROSSHERZOG VON HESSEN, the reverse centre presents the inscription FÜR TAPFERKEIT (FOR BRAVERY), surrounded by a border comprised of half oak leaves and half laurel leaves, measuring 33.37 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in near extremely fine condition. A Prussian Reserve Long Service Decoration, II Class Medal, a round bronze feinzink medal, the obverse with a Prussian crown, circumscribed TREUE DIENSTE RESERVE LANDWEHR (FAITHFUL SERVICE RESERVE MILITIA), the reverse inscribed LANDWEHRDIENSTAUSZEICHNUNG II KLASSE, measuring 25.06 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in extremely fine condition.
