Germany, Imperial. A Lot of Imperial Veteran Badges
(Abzeichen). A collection of four badges and medals, including a 90th Fusiliers Regiment of Kaiser Wilhelm 125th Anniversary Cross, a silver cross pattée, the obverse centre presents the letter W surmounted by the Imperial Crown, the regiment number 90 in raised lettering on the six o’clock arm, the dates 1788 and 1913 on the nine and three o’clock arms, attached to a metal ribbon bar, reverse maker marked DESCHLER UND SOHN, MÜNCHEN-9, measuring 41 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), and in good condition.A Prussian Veterans Organization badge in gilded silver with black and white enamels, displaying a Prussian eagle on a shield attached to a 25 Year Membership insignia, the reverse shows a horizontal pinback, metal plate inscribed “GES. GESCH. PREUSSISCHER LANDES KRIEGERVERBAND, measuring 26 mm (w) x 122 mm (h), with original black and white ribbons with cord tassels, one ribbon marked “Preussischer Landes-Kriegerverband (Prussian Veteran Association), and in extremely fine condition. A gilded badge in the shape of a bow-tie, presenting crossed cannons, with a shovel and hammer, surmounted by an exploding bomb, reverse presents the maker mark OTTILIE OTTO LEIPZIG-GOHLIS, on a horizontal pinback, measuring 48.41 mm (w) x 19.47 mm (h), and in good condition. A Prussian 1888 Year of the Three Emperors Medal, constructed of bronze, the obverse illustrating the right-facing conjoined busts of Wilhelm II, Frederick III and Wilhelm I surrounded by the inscription KAISER WILHELM I. KAISER FRIEDRICH III. KAISER WILHELM II., the reverse illustrating the crowned Prussian eagle coat-of-arms, surrounded by the inscription ZUR ERINNERUNG AN DAS DREI KAISERJAHR and dated 1888 below, 30.34 mm, light contact and surface wear, and very fine condition.
