Germany, Imperial. A Lot of Recovered & Found State Orders
(Deutsches Reich Orden). A group of three Imperial German state orders, including a partial frame for a House Order of Hohenzollern, III Class Cross, constructed of silver, measuring 39.23 mm (w) x 39.39 mm (h), evidence of fire damage, in poor condition; a Saxe-Weimar House Order of the White Falcon Merit Cross, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central bronze medallion bearing a royal monogram surrounded by a raised inscription of “VIGILANDO ASCENDIMUS” (“THROUGH VIGILANCE WE ASCEND”), measuring 37.81 mm (w) x 38.47 mm (h), missing its reverse medallion, in fair condition, and; a Württemberg Charlotte Cross, constructed of silvered bronze, unmarked, measuring 41.86 mm (w) x 41.99 mm (h), missing its suspension and reverse medallion, in poor condition.
