A lot of three medals, including an Oldenburg Friedrich August Cross, II Class, constructed of blackened metal (magnetic) with a laurel wreath between the arms of the cross, the obverse centrally inscribed FA for Friedrich August, with a raised crown on the upper arm of the cross and 1914 on the lower arm of the cross, the reverse plain, measuring 40.28 mm (w) x 41.44 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition.
An Iron Cross 1914, II Class, a cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed border, on loop for suspension, the obverse with a raised central W, with the re-institution date 1914 in raised numbering on the lower arm, and the royal crown on the upper arm, the reverse with a central oak-leaf branch consisting of three oak leaves, with the original institution date 1813 in raised numbers on the lower arm, a raised Prussian crown on the upper arm, with FW in equally raised lettering directly below, measuring 42.53 mm (w) x 42.37 mm, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in near extremely fine condition.
An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/18 with Swords (Das Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918), a straight armed cross pattée in bronzed iron, with crossed swords between the arms, the centre obverse displays a laurel wreath encircling the dates 1914 1918, maker marked B10, measuring 37.23 mm (w) x 37.32 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in extremely fine condition.
