What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Abzeichen und Insignien). A mixed lot of four decorations and insignia, including a matching set of Württemberg Officer’s shoulder boards, each constructed of dark blue wool with card stock stock cores and bearing four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, with each pipe interspersed with black and red threaded chevrons, both unmarked and measuring 30 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), with some material fatigue evident that including a tear to the outer edge of the wool of one board which has exposed the card stock, in uniform-removed and better than very fine condition; a Saxe-Coburg and Gotha Art and Science Decoration, constructed of silvered, with an integral suspension loop, consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a raised rightward-facing profile of Duke Carl Eduard, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FUER KUNST UND WISSENSCHAFT” (“FOR ART AND SCIENCE”), unmarked, measuring 33.06 mm (w) x 33.24 mm (h), weighing 16.0 grams, in near extremely fine condition, and; a silver patriotic fob with Saxe-Weimar colouring, consisting of a rayon ribbon with four silver links, the central link bearing an engraved monogram, the reverse with an engraved dedication which appears to be dated to Christmas 1953, completing in a silver medallion bearing a raised and stylized monogram on the obverse, secured in place with a functional spring clip, the medallion measuring 39.00 mm in diameter, weighing 43.0 grams overall, in extremely fine condition.
