A mixed lot of six service decorations, including a Merit Cross for Voluntary War Aid, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR KRIEGS-VERDIENST” (“FOR WAR MERIT”), unmarked, measuring 40.62 mm (w) x 40.95 mm (h), weighing 19.0 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition; an 1889 German Veterans Association badge, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from a period original ribbon with clasp and vertical pinback, maker marked “HEINR. TIMM, BERLIN”, measuring 33 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; an 1891 Fischeln German Veterans Association badge, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from a period original ribbon with clasp and vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), in very fine condition; a 1910 Siege of Metz commemorative badge, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from a period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a Hanover Fire Brigade 25-year long service badge, constructed of silvered bronze with machine embroidery, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in very fine condition, and; a Bavarian 40-Year Faithful Service Cross, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension, the reverse maker marked “AX. SCHWINGER, PLATTLING”, measuring 42 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in very fine condition.
