(Deutsches Kaiserreich Abzeichen). A pair of Imperial German medals, including a Bavarian 1866 Austrian Campaign Cross, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Ruppert Cross with ribbed arms, the obverse with a central Bavarian lion rampant inside of an oak leaf wreath, the reverse with a date of 1866 inside of an oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 36.74 mm (w) x 41.56 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; a Saxon Friedrich August Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension, the obverse with a monogram of Friedrich August III inside of a laurel wreath, the reverse with an inscription of “FRIEDRICH AUGUST MEDAILLE”, measuring 28.63 mm in diameter, weighing 10.5 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
