Silver, obverse engraver marked "OERTEL BERLIN", illustrating a canary with the inscription "DEM VERDIENSTE" above, reverse with the date "1915" engraved inside an open-ended wreath, surrounded by the inscription "KANARIENZÜCHTER-U.VOGELSCHUTZ - VERBAND E.V. SITZ BERLIN", 39.7 mm, spot on the obverse, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, recessed medal bed, scuffed, case fine.
