Two First War German Recognition Badges
A First War Saxon Veteran’s Decoration - In gilded bronze, 37x43mm, maker marked, very good quality make, very fine; A First War Prussian Red Cross Donation Recognition Badge - Zinc, maker marked "G. HERMELING" on the reverse, illustrating the Prussian eagle topped by the Imperial crown, flanked by two shields (one with a Red Cross, the other with a Donation Bucket), inscribed "ANERKENNUNG DER BUCHSEN SAMMLUNG" and "VOM ROTEN KREUZ" on the outer edge, 39.3 mm x 46 mm, attached to a white rosette-style five petal folded ribbon with black trim on the edges via two prongs, horizontal pinback, white oxidation mark on the obverse, very fine.
