What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Constructed of oval shaped blackened tombac; the obverse with a Stahlhelm in the center, superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse with a ball hinge, a flat wire catch, and a flat vertical pinback; measuring 36.76 mm (w) x 41.04 mm (h); weighing 7.1 grams; the black finish mostly worn, thus revealing the bare tombac underneath - remnants of the black finish visible near the hinge and catch of the badge; in overall better than fine condition.
