Germany, Imperial. A Lot of First War Service Decorations
(Deutsches Kaiserreich Abzeichen). A lot of three First War service decorations, including a Wound Badge, Black Grade, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the obverse with a central Stahlhelm, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a raised crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36.56 mm (w) x 42.44 mm (h), weighing 6.4 grams, some loss of finish evident, in overall very fine condition; an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for Non-Combatants, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original mounted ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse maker marked “W. SCH. & CO.” for Wilhelm Schröder & Co., Lüdenscheid, measuring 37.74 mm (w) x 41.46 mm (h), weighing 18.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition, and; an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for War Bereaved, constructed of blackened magnetic iron, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse maker marked “G. & S.” for Glaser & Sohn, Dresden, measuring 37.64 mm (w) x 42.45 mm (h), weighing 12.3 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
