A pair of Wound Badges, including a Black Grade decoration, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, with a central raised Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 38.38 mm (w) x 43.20 mm (h), weighing 12.4 grams, with minor loss of finish evident, in very fine condition, and; a Gold Grade award, constructed of gilded magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 39.57 mm (w) x 43.70 mm (h), weighing 12.7 grams, with minor loss of finish evident, in very fine condition.
