A fine quality manufacture Prussian Pilot’s badge; in silver (marked “800” on the reverse for silver content); with a “W” retail mark; thin slender banjo style vertical pin; functional hinge/catch assembly; hollow construction with a breather hole on the crown on the reverse; unmarked but textbook example of “P. Meybauer of Berlin” manufacture; measuring 72.46 mm x 45.58 mm; weighing 26.4 grams; light patina from age; extremely fine condition.
