In silver, hollow version, marked 935, measuring 44 mm x 71 mm, with finely engraved text on reverse "S.I. Piloten in treuer Kameradschaft zeugeeignet v.s. ehem. Beob. Erich Richten" & "1917", translating to "Pilots in Loyal Comradeship", "Erich Richten", Summer 1917. Accompanied by a modern photograph exhibiting a field memorial to Richten reading "Hier ruht / Korporal Erich Richter / Feldpilot der K.u.k. Fliegerkomp.27. / wurde am 30.Juni 1917 abgeschossen" (RIP / Corporal Erich Richter / Field Pilot of K.u.k. Aviator Company 27. / was shot down on June 30, 1917). A unique badge that remains extremely fine.
