A fine example of a Prussian Pilot’s “Flugzeugführer” badge; in silvered brass; hollow, but without a breather hole; with fine details; a standard pilot’s badge motif on the obverse within a wreath of oak and laurel leaves , a bow on the bottom of the wreath, and ordained by the Prussian crown at the top; engraved “Zum Sieg - Für Dich, Durch Dich - Josefle” (For Victory - For you, because of you - Joseph); vertical needle style pinback; barrel hinge, and a slightly rounded catch; measuring 47.99 mm x 29.87 mm; weighing 9.6 grams; extremely fine condition.
