A First War converted Bavarian pilot’s badge (Flugzeugführer Abzeichen); in stamped nickel alloy with fine details; within a wreath consisting of oak and laurel leaves; a bow on the bottom with a Bavarian crown on the top; uniquely, this badge was originally issued as a Prussian Pilot’s badge that was converted into a Bavarian Pilot’s badge; measuring 70.65 mm x 45.75; weighing 11.9 grams; very fine condition.
