                A fine quality example of a Prussian Pilot’s Badge (Flugzugführer) badge; in silvered tombac; hollow construction, with fine details; standard pilot’s badge motif within a wreath consisting of oak and laurel leaves; a bow on the bottom with a Prussian crown on the top; vertical pinback with a barrel hinge and a round wire catch; with two breather holes; maker marked in the form of a square on the pin for Carl Dilenius; measuring 44.6mm x 72.0mm; weighing 22.1 grams; circa 1914-16 period manufacture,dark toned, in extremely fine condition.
