In silver, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, tied together at the bottom with a bowtie-style ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, with a central eagle flying over a seascape, underneath a radiant sun, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, the pinback marked with a silver purity number of “800”, with hand-etched recipient’s name of “Kühne”, measuring 43.54 mm (w) x 61.96 mm (h), weighing 27.5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
