What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Marine Korps Flandernkreuz). A bronze cross pattée, with swords crossing through the arms, the obverse bears the Reichskriegsflagge (model 1903-1921), framed by a laurel wreath, above that, on the upper cross arm, is the Flemish lion, on the two horizontal cross arms is the inscription MARINE KORPS, on the lower cross arm are the dates 1914/18, the reverse centre presents the insignia of the Imperial Navy, a crowned anchor and cipher W for Wilhelm, surrounded by a laurel wreath, with the cross arms bearing the inscription Zur See Unbesiegt Im Felde (Undefeated in the Sea), measuring 40.18 mm (w) x 45.53 mm (h - inclusive of integral ring), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, bearing three battle clasps (Ypres, Yser, and Somme), and in overall better than very fine condition.
