Germany, NSDAP. A 1938 Nuremberg Rally Commemorative Pennant

(1938 Reichsparteitag Wimpel). A rare 1938 Nuremberg Rally commemorative pennant, constructed of a red cotton base, one side bearing a central white cotton disc measuring 95 mm in diameter, overlaid by a multi-piece black mobile swastika, the opposite side overlaid by a white cotton disc measuring 100 mm in diameter, bearing a detailed machine-embroidered multi-coloured design consisting of two raised figures, one of which is clutching a NSDAP-style German flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a pedestal bearing a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “REICHSPARTEITAG 1938”, and set within a circular laurel leaf wreath, the hoist edge features magnetic metal loops at each coroner, unmarked, measuring 245 mm (w) x 160 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
