Constructed of red rayon, each end completing in a band of gold bullion wire tassels, the obverse flanked on each end by a white canvas disc overlaid by a black mobile swastika, the obverse left bearing an inscription of “DER OBERBÜRGERMEISTER DER STADT MANNHEIM” (“THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF MANNHEIM”) in gold Fraktur script, unmarked, measuring 17.5 cm (w) x 232 cm (l), with material fatigue evident to both the rayon and canvas features, in overall better than very fine condition.
