(NS-Frauenschaft Wimpel). A double-sided National Socialist Women’s League (NS-Frauenschaft) pennant, constructed of a multi-piece, multi-coloured rayon blend, with one side consisting of a black base overlaid by a white cross, with a central red swastika and golden-yellow initials, topped by a white band bearing a hand-embroidered golden-yellow inscription of “NAT. SOZ. FRAUENSCHAFT”, the opposite side presenting with a NSDAP flag motif in the form of a red base bearing a white disc overlaid by a hand-embroidered black mobile swastika, the hoist edge with a hollow channel through which is set a wooden pole bearing a rayon threaded rope, unmarked, measuring 250 mm (w) x 85 mm (h), with moderate soiling evident to both sides, in overall very fine condition.
