Germany, Third Reich. An AH Twist of Fate Medal by the Bavarian Official Mint

(Schicksalswende Medaille). A round gilt bronze medal, the obverse with an eagle breaking the chains around its legs, with a sunwheel swastika on its chest, circumscribed with im Jahre Deutscher Schicksalswende 1933 (In the year of the twist of fate 1933), the reverse with a leftward facing bust of AH, circumscribed by Unser die Zukunft (Ours the future), inscribed Bayer. Hauptmnünztamt on the edge of the medal, measures 36.10 mm in diameter, weighing 21.7 grams, with its original case of issue, and in overall very fine condition.
