In alpaca silver, hallmarked and marked "FLOREAT ALPACA" on the bottom, engraved with the Luftwaffe eagle insignia above the inscription "Offz. Lehrg. d. L.N.S. / 8.8.40" (Offizier Lehrgang d. Luftnachrichtenschule / August 8, 1940 = Officer's Course at the Luftnachrichtenschule, August 8, 1940) on the front, measuring 24.5 mm wide at the base x 32.3 mm at the mouth x 42.5 mm in height, exhibiting tarnishing in the upper third on the exterior, contact marks, better than very fine. NOTE: "Luftnachrichtenschule" TRANSLATES TO "Air News School". NOT SURE WHAT THAT MEANS.
