What's a max bid?

A Second War M40 Heer Single Decal Helmet

A Second War M40 Heer Single Decal Helmet; Steel helmet, magnetic, original apple green exterior, left side exhibiting a scuffed and faded Army (Heer) eagle, the National tri-colour shield on the right side having been painted over. The inside comes complete with its original eight-panel butterscotch-coloured leather liner, each panel with five ventilation holes, plus a black shoelace replacing the original drawstring that has been lost to time, fed through a sixth hole at the end of each panel, each with a circular reinforcement on the underside, size stamped in black ink "57" on one of the rear panels, the shoelace tied in a knot. Original two-piece leather chinstrap has been lost to time, aluminum buckles are affixed to the liner's steel frame, the helmet with its original pins holding the frame but all three pins are loose. The underside of the skirt is stamped "064" on the left side and "11072" at the rear. Measures 228 mm x 280 mm x 155 mm in height. The stitching remains intact on the leather liner but exhibits wear along with a few holes, the original paint on the interior and exterior has experienced contact marks and surface wear, all from active use and subsequent storage. Fine.
