Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

Germany, Luftwaffe. A 1st Fallschirm-Panzer Division “Hermann Göring” EM/NCO’s Visor Cap

(Schirmmütze für Männer der Fallschirm-Panzer-Division 1. “Hermann Göring”). A rare and exceptionally well-preserved 1st Fallschirm-Panzer Division “Hermann Goring” EM/NCO’s visor cap. It is constructed of dark grey wool, and features side wall reinforcements lined on the exterior with a ribbed black mohair cap band. Bands of white wool piping trim both the top and bottom edges of the cap band, with an additional band of identical piping lining the outer edge of the crown. Pinned onto the peak of the cap is an insignia consisting of aluminum Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, measuring 70 mm (w) x 40 mm (h) overall. Affixed to the cap band directly underneath the eagle is a second aluminum insignia, consisting of a central tricolour cockade within an oak leaf wreath, flanked on each side by stylized wings. The cap band insignia measures 130 mm (w) x 40 mm (h). Also set into each side of the cap band are black-painted magnetic metal rivets, accommodating a multi-piece black leatherette chinstrap, adjusted with dual functional blackened magnetic metal buckles. When not in use, the chinstrap rests upon a protruding black vulcanfibre visor, which presents on the reverse in a light brown core. A light brown leather sweatband lines the lower edge of the interior, measuring 45 mm in width and perforated with an array of ventilation holes along the forehead. A padded beige rayon-blended liner fully encompasses the interior, with a transparent plastic moisture guard stitched onto the crown. Insert into the guard is an unspoiled paper nametag. It also bears a black German national eagle overlaid by an inscription of “EXTRA KLASSE”, with an additional inscription of “MARKE STANDARD”, indicating that the cap is a high-quality, privately-purchased example. It measures approximately 235 mm (w) x 280 mm (h) x 170 mm (h). With only slight fatigue evident to the leather features, this is a rare example of a Hermann Göring Division cap in near mint condition.
