What's a max bid?

Germany, Ordnungspolizei. An Ordnungspolizei (Order Police) Administration Officer’s Visor Cap

(Ordnungspolizei Verwaltung Einheitsmütze). This is a well-preserved Ordnungspolizei (Order Police) Verwaltung (Administration) officer’s visor cap, constructed of smooth police-green wool with a brown wool cap band. Three bands of off-white Waffenfarbe piping ring the cap, with a single band at the top and one each at the top and bottom of the cap band. Pinned into the peak of the cap is a zink tri-colour cockade with a red felt centerpiece, measuring 23 mm in diameter. Pinned into the cap band underneath the cockade is an aluminum police-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika within an oak leaf wreath, measuring 51 mm (w) x 46 mm (h). The cap is flanked on each side by pebbled magnetic metal buttons holding in place a decorative chinstrap constructed of twisted and rolled gold bullion wire, neatly knotted at each, and resting upon the visor. The visor is constructed of lacquered black vulcanfibre. The interior of the cap features a 42 mm-wide, tan-coloured leather sweatband. The interior features a complete, champagne-coloured rayon liner with a transparent, rhomboid moisture guard stitched into the top. The moisture guard bears a partially-intact, handwritten name tag. The cap is unmarked and measures 247 mm (w) x 277 (l) x 15 mm (h). Most of the stitching holding the visor in place has deteriorated, and there are additional patches of mothing to the exterior, but the cap is in an otherwise fair condition.
