A Fine German Infantry Officer's Visor Named to  E. Crolitz - An outstanding visor in extremely desirable condition; private purchase visor cap, featuring a field-grey doe skin wool body and crown, and a dark green cloth centerband with white wool waffenfarbe piping; he front of the cap features a second pattern Army eagle in silvered aluminum; on the centerband below the eagle is an oak-leaf wreath in silvered aluminum (2nd. pattern) centering a national tri-color cockade, also in silvered aluminum. The cap has a twisted, silver-aluminum chin cord fastened in place by two small, pebbled, magnetic silvered buttons. The cap has a black lacquered vulcanfibre, without cracks, exhibiting only minor signs of wear. The interior is fully lined in an orangy-tan ribbed rayon. The rhomboid shaped clear moisture shield is well maker marked, identifying firm as Ludwig Wrz Militar-Effekten of Ulm a-/D. on Herdbruckerstr. 30; the slot in the moisture shield has a paper tag which has the owners name: E. Crolitz. The interior of the cap features a tan, simulated leather, sweatband with ventilation perforations to the front, and is intact, exhibiting only minor wear overall; the reverse of the sweatband has no visible markings; overall this cap is in near mint condition, and of average size.
