Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A German Cavalry Officers M38 Overseas Cap

A very good quality cap, M38 pattern, field-grey wool construction Officer’s cap features fold down with scalloped design to the front side panels. Both the crown edges and the front scalloped side panels piped in shiny silver/aluminum braiding. The front of the cap has a machine woven Army eagle in silvery wires; below the eagle is zinc Totenkopf (added later); below small Totenkopf is a cockade below, in silvery wires and black/red threads; both eagle and cockade exhibit nice bright colors; the cockade is flanked by a golden-yellow “waffenfarbe” soutache, indicating Cavalry branch of the Army. The front of the cap appears to be extra padded. The interior of the cap is fully lined in brown rayon, with a leather forehead sweatband at the front section, which is complete. Cap has a large stamp inside “Clemens WAGNER BRAUNSCHWEIG Mai 41”. This Officers cap exhibits moderate wear, with exterior and interior being complete, with bright colors and no holes and no significant imperfections. In overall very fine condition.
