What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Army Tropical M38 Overseas (Feldmütze) Cap - Cap is constructed of olive/tan cotton with a factory sewn tropical insignia, centering at the front Herr eagle, above the national tri-color cockade. The interior of the cap had been (war time) modified by the wearer, by removing about a third of a red lining (thus making cap lighter and more suitable for hot climate), but the markings were left intact (size 54, maker mark and 10 44); further, side panels were removed and dark brown sweet band stitched onto the base of the cap. Good example in worn condition.
