Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

Germany, Heer. A Heer (Army) Infantry NCO/EM Visor Cap by Peter Küpper

(Heer Schirmmütze). This is an extremely well preserved Heer (Army) Non-Commissioned Officer/Enlisted Man visor cap. The upper body is constructed of field-grey wool ringed with white “Waffenfarbe” piping at the top and bottom, indicating Infantry. The lower body of the hat is composed of smooth black wool with an additional ring of white piping on the bottom. The body is completed by a black lacquered vulcanfibre visor extended outward in a downward slope. Pinned into the peak of the cap is a silvered aluminum second pattern Heer-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 63 mm (w) x 25 mm (h). Underneath the eagle is a Heer cockade composed of a red felt centre within two ribbed silvered aluminum rings, in turn ringed by a black magnetic metal sunray-style ring, inside silvered aluminum second pattern wreath of oak leaves, acorns, and wings. There is a leather chinstrap secured above the visor by two black magnetic metal fasteners at each end, with two black magnetic metal adjustable buckles allowing for a customizable fit. The interior is fully lined with a field-grey rayon liner, along with an oilcloth sweatband securely stitched across the circumference. The top bears a transparent rhombus moisture guard with manufacturer stamp clearly reading “Peter Küpper, Wu.-Ronsdorf, Stirndruckfrei Deutsches Reichspatent” and a typed owner’s name of “Mähr, Josef”. Pinned into the sweatband is a size tag of “55”. The cap measures 245 mm (w) x 274 mm (l) x 173 mm (h). Age-appropriate fatigue is evident to the sweatband and there is minor scratching of the visor, but the cap presents in an otherwise extremely fine condition.
