What's a max bid?

Germany, Wehrmacht. An Officer’s Overseas Cap, 1941

(Wehrmacht Offizier Schiffchen). Constructed of coarse field-gray wool, with fold-down scallops to the front and side; the crown and the front edges of the scalloped side panels are decorated with embroidered silver aluminum bullion piping; the sides of the cap each with a single enameled rivet for air ventilation; the front decorated with a Wehrmacht officer’s eagle. Constructed of rolled, flat, and twisted silver aluminum bullion wire and green thread to give definition to the wings, wreath, and swastika; below the eagle is a silver aluminum bullion tri-colour cockade; the interior of the cap lined in olive-green cotton fabric, marked “Joh. Speidel, Tobingen - Landeslieferungsgenossenschaft Württemberg 1941”; measuring 287 mm (w) x 125 mm (h); in virtually mint condition.
