Klasse, mit Krone und Schwertern); silver Maltese Cross with crossed Roman Swords,maker marked “G.H” on reverse’ obverse with a circular central black and white enamel medallion with cipher of King Ludwig III, incribed “Meriti” (Merit”); the reverse bears a Bavarian Lion, dated “1866”; on original ribbon for combatants; measuring 65 mm x 42 mm; patina from age and light soiling on ribbon, but otherwise very fine condition.
