(Braunschweig) A very scarce Grand Cross Set of Insignia, comprising: Grand Cross, in silver gilt and enamels, 62.25mm x 95.6m, ring marked "HJ" (Hermann Jürgens Hof-Juwelier Braunschweig), along with half-moon, Imperial crown and silver content "900" hallmark; no chipping to enamel, of superb quality manufacture, in virtually mint condition, and with full length of original sash ribbon; Star, in silver, silver gilt and enamels, 85.5mm x 85.5mm, reverse cartouche marked "Herm. Jürgens Hof-Juwelier Braunschweig", no chipping to enamels, of superb quality manufacture, in virtually mint condition; only 23 such grand cross sets awarded, therefore very scarce, of top quality manufacture and in top condition.
