Anhalt, Duchy. A Faithful Labour Medal
(Ehrenzeichen für Treue in der Arbeit). Instituted 29 April 1895 by Duke Friedrich I. (1895-1918). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward-facing profile of Duke Friedrich II, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “FÜR TREUE IN DER ARBEIT (“FOR FAITHFUL LABOUR”), unmarked, measuring 32.13 mm in diameter, weighing 14.4 grams, in extremely fine condition.
