What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the consisting of a central double-sided crowned bearing walking on top of a fortress wall, set within an oval ring, the obverse bearing an inscription of “FÜRCHTE GOTT UND BEFOLGE SEIN BEFEHL” (“FEAR GOD AND OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS”), the reverse bearing an inscription of “ALBRECHT DER BAER REG: 1123 BIS 1170” (“ALBERT THE BEAR, KING: 1123 UNTIL 1170”), unmarked, measuring 32.080 mm (w) x 42.76 mm (h), weighing 12.7 grams, a museum exhibition example in extremely fine condition.
