Constructed of gilded bronze, three-piece construction, a crowned eagle with outstretched wings, a banner inscribed with “MIT GOTT FÜR FUERST UND VATER LAND” (WITH GOD FOR FIRST AND FATHERLAND) lays across the centre of the eagle, a sceptre is in the left talon and a globus cruciger is in the right talon, the centre of the eagle bears a eight-rayed star and superimposed on that is a crowned coat of arms, the reverse bear four screwbacks with square bolts, measuring 112.20 mm (w) x 97.85 mm (h), very fine.
