Constructed of gilded silver, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Ruppert Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms, with a central number “30” in Roman numerals, the six o’clock arm with a monogram of King Ludwig III, with a laurel wreatht through the quadrants, the reverse with an etched name of “MARIA WILLY”, an inscription of “AN GROSSER ZEIT” (“IN THE GREAT TIME”), and a date of “1917”, the suspension loop with a maker’s mark of “L.B.” and a silver content mark of “800”, measuring 41.07 mm (w) x 48.34 mm (h), weighing 12.2 grams, in extremely fine condition.
