A cross constructed of tanned bronze; the obverse with a central medallion depicting a rampant lion within an oak wreath; the reverse dated “1866” within an oak wreath; on a loop for suspension from its period original ribbon; measuring 36.77 mm (w) x 41.11 mm (h); weighing 15.4 grams; in overall better than fine condition.
