An elongated octagon shaped badge constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse centre bears the Bavarian flag of blue and white enamel diamonds, superimposed with a crowned cipher with a detailed border, the reverse is plain and bears a vertical pinback and the maker mark “C. POELLATH” and “E CHROBENHAUBEN”, measuring 33.66 mm (w) x 47.65 mm (h), very fine.
